How to Find Us
From the North and West
Approach Sunderland on the A19 Southbound
Turn off the A19 onto the A1231 eastbound sign posted Sunderland.
Remain on the A1231, sign posted “City Centre” across the River Wear at the
Queen Alexandra Bridge, and all the way to the western edge of the City Centre. Stay on the City
Centre inner ring road following signs for South Shields (A1018), and local signs for The Port, to
the Wearmouth Bridge.
At the roundabout at the north end of the bridge go straight on (second exit) sign posted Teesside
A1018 and The Port. At the next roundabout (“The Exchange”), turn right (third exit) sign posted City
Centre East and Sunniside.
Norfolk Street is the third street on your left. There is on street parking in Norfolk
Street with an hourly charge. We are the large on the corner number 24-26
Norfolk Street.
From the South
Approach Sunderland on the A19 Northbound.
Turn off the A19 at the A1018 sign posted Sunderland and Ryhope.
Take the A1018 through the village of Ryhope and on into Sunderland sign posted City Centre.
At the southern end of the City Centre turn right and continue to follow the A1018, sign posted South
Shields, turning left at the second set of traffic lights, right at the next set of traffic lights,
and then left at the roundabout, still sign posted A1018 South Shields.
At the next roundabout, (“The Exchange”) turn left (third exit) sign posted City Centre East
and Sunniside.
Norfolk Street is the third street on your left. There is on street parking in Norfolk
Street with an hourly charge. We are the large on the corner number 24-26

From Sunderland Metro Station and Railway Station by foot
If you are coming into Sunderland on the Metro you will go up the stairs at the south end of the
Sunderland station (the stop after St. Peter’s) and come through the exit facing the stairs.
Once outside turn left so that you are walking towards Fawcett Street, with Wilkinsons on your right
and Northern Rock on your left.
When you cross Fawcett Street continue walking straight ahead, cross John Street (Lloyds TSB Bank on
your right) at the traffic lights and continue on crossing another two roads until you come to a fenced
garden area with trees.
Walk between the two garden areas then turn right and Argent is the large building on the corner of
Norfolk Street in front of you.
